Photography in Paradise

peeking from behind the sensor

The weather was perfect, warm and no wind to speak about. No one at the beach either. Two lonely surfers trying to ride very small low tide waves. As the tide retreated the ocean left a lot of trash on the beach. I guess I should say people left trash and the ocean piles it up on the sand. the sun, sand and textures were inspiring. I used my Canon 7D with the Tokina 10-17 fisheye zoom and the Canon 60mm macro lenses. The 60mm macro is very sharp with excellent resolution and contrast. It really captured the texture of the grains of sand in the close-up images. The Tokina 10-17 fisheye lens shoes it’s superb sharpness and maximum depth of field. In the image of the kelp in the foreground I am only 10 inches from the kelp and the waves at the far distance are in perfect focus. CLICK ON THE IMAGES TO ENLARGE THEM
