Photography in Paradise

peeking from behind the sensor

Mike Uriell and I went to La Jolla today to explore the low tide reefs. We joined the crowds that were all over the reef. It seems our wonderful weather has attracted them and the birds. We spent several hours testing our lenses and filters. I watched a lot of people who a unfamiliar with the reef conditions skip and fall on the mossy terrain. One young lady fell and smashed here camera and others fell into the tide pools or on their butts. Yet everyone was having fun. The sea lion at the out edge of the reef was charging to have his picture taken. One picture, one fish cost. The sea gulls were raiding peoples lunches and on the look out for any tidbits. The fog kept changing the lighting as it moved in and out.

Here are some images from today.
