Testing out my Canon 1DsMK2 Infrared conversion this morning. The sky was overcast so the Infrared was very weak. The pelicans are very numerous lately and their flight formations are wonderful to watch. When shooting Infrared the actual ISO is a lot less than what the camera setting is. ISO 100 is actually 12. The lens also has to be set for the the Infrared wave length which means infinity is not infinity and the lens needs to be forward focused.
