Went to the beach this morning before sunrise to check the first winter swell and big high tide. The temperature at 6:30 am was 77 degrees with a slight off shore wind. There were already a few early bird surfers out. The waves were very clean and about 6-8 foot range. They were getting some good rides in the tube. When the sun came up I went to OB to see what was happening there. Only a few surfers out by the pier. I took a few image of the waves under the pier. Then I went to Sunset Cliffs to get some wave and reef action. I made it back to the office by 10am. This is better than summer weather to day.
