The clouds are moving in. Took these this afternoon as the first of two storms bring rain to California and 2 feet of snow to the mountains. I set up the Canon 1DsMK2 camera that has been converted to infrared. It operates at about ISO 25 so a tripod is necessary. These images are with the 20-70 f2.8 lens. There were a few rainbows just before sundown. Not much in the way of surf but the swell direction is NW and wave lines are long. The outside sand bars are building so if there is a good swell with these storms there could be lined up waves at the sandy beaches.
