The San Diego chapter of the Classic Car Club of America hosted an antique car show on the lawn in front of the Rancho Santa Fe Inn this weekend. Showing were the best of the best in collectors from the west coast. The 1936 black Bentley convertible was also the big winner at the Pebble Beach show this year. The Inn is a beautiful place to show these classics. 30 great cars from history during the 1920’s to late 1930’s adorned the garden. These jewels are very expensive and some of the owners have as many as 20 cars in their collection. The original craftsmanship in these cars is something to admire. The 1939 French Del Ahaye is a very modern looking style with sleek lines and sweeping curves and the seats are upholstered with white ostrich hide. They all look like they are on show room floors for the first time.
