There was a large number of birds at the beach this morning feeding on small sand crabs. Caspian and Royal terns, a large variety of gulls, willets, and black billed plovers all treading the shallow water at the edge of the surf line feeding and fighting over food. In the lagoon there were the ducks and cormorants. The birds were not shy and let me get withing 15 to 20 feet from them.
