The waves were crashing against the highway and carving out the cliff this morning at high tide. In less than 20 minutes I watched three feet of cliff disappear into the ocean. A couple of surfers made it out and did manage to catch a few rideable waves but getting out of the water was another challenge for them. There was a group of experienced surfers watching from the highway.
